Adobe announced at the Web 2.0 Summit that they intended to take all of their applications online within 10 years. They’ve already created heavily stripped down versions of both Premiere and Photoshop, the former Premiere Express which is used in popular video mashups websites including YouTube and the latter being recently demoed at Adobe Max.

Amazon Launches DRM-Free MP3 Music Store

Amazon has launched a public beta of its new DRM-Free MP3 Music store. The store contains over 2,000,000 tracks from EMI and Universal as well as over 20,000 independent music labels. This announcement strikes a major blow in the struggle to get DRM free music for a reasonable price.
