Hot on the heels of the Jailbreak for OSX, a similar, yet slightly more convoluted guide has surfaced for Windows. Requiring more manual work and technical knowledge beyond that of your every-day iPod touch user, many should wait for the eventual One-Click solution to be released. The Jailbreak uses Niacin’s TIFF exploit as well as iPhuc for Windows, but also requiring you to use Cygwin, pull RSA keys and harvest apps from the BSD base applications set.

I’m still weighing my confidence in my hacking ability before taking the plunge and subjecting my iPod touch to this hack, if I do go though with it, I’ll be sure to post a step by step guide with pictures on how I did it.
