iPod touch running Mail, Google Maps, others
Oct112007 7:23AM — John —Engadget is reporting that a group of hackers have successfully decrypted the iPod touch RAMDISK. That, along with Niacin’s TIFF Jailbreak, means they’re able to read/write data to the device and install and run applications. Among those applications are the iPhone’s Mail and Google Maps as well as many other third party apps including the NES emulator!
