In the wake of Radiohead’s “name your price” album release, inrainbows, it appears their website has crumbled under the strain of users trying to download the album and hasn’t been accessible since about 3PM today; leaving people who pre-ordered the album possibly wishing they had chosen to pay less. While an interesting experiment in next generation music distribution and pricing, the launch seems to have been poorly planned and demand, even though completely through pre-order, under estimated.
