Microsoft has announced the next generation of their Zune music player. It will come in three different models, 2 flash based (4GB/8GB) at $150/$200 respectively and an 80GB HardDrive model at $250. The flash based players will come in Pink, Red, Green and Black and the Hard Drive player will only come in black, a very Apple thing to do… except they don’t charge more for it. This revision most significantly adds Podcasting, much improved battery life and the ability to sync over Wifi. The interface looks spectacular and the screens are glass and look gorgeous, the Zune is really shaping up to be the player it was meant to be.
